Messaging and Collaboration Engineer
Salary: up to $128,000 Commensurate with Experience

Job Description:
Work with messaging and collaboration systems as they relate to all versions of MS Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Lync/Skype, Right Fax, Symantec Enterprise Vault, and Clearwell and all their components, including Windows servers,;
Active Directory and Employee provisioning tools - Active Role Server; serve as subject matter expert for the applications mentioned above, but not limited to building out systems;
Perform upgrades and migrations of current systems to newer platforms;
Support disaster recovery activities through maintenance and testing, including coordination of disaster recover test;
Assist with design and manage disaster recovery plans as it relates to messaging infrastructure components; including all technical tasks such as requirements gathering, infrastructure architecture, messaging infrastructure design, pre-installation preparation, product installation and configuration;
Configure infrastructure and messaging technologies and help agencies with architectural reviews and network planning and design sessions, to ensure systems will work properly; advocate and practice enterprise architecture best practices related to messaging and collaborative systems;
Partner with architecture teams required to ensure alignment of all related architecture processes, standards, strategies, and roadmaps; document solution architectures and support information; and perform special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Preferred Skills 8+ years of Microsoft Exchange Architecture and implementation, Symantec Enterprise Vault, eDiscovery systems and threat management gateways;
Experience in multiple infrastructure disciplines such as compute, storage, database and virtualization;
Knowledge of email archival systems, messaging systems, email eDiscovery systems, system administration and architecture expertise;
Advanced exchange 2010/2013/2016, documentation and overall windows 2008/2012/2016 OS skills;
Knowledge of ADFS and IAM Systems - Password Hashing, Pass Through Authentication;
Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting to automate deployment and configuration of Windows systems, Exchange and VMware; 8+ years experience administrating a high availability exchange DAG environment;
Experience in a large, geographically dispersed environment;
Architectural level Experience With Multi Site DAG and Exchange stretch cluster technology for Exchange disaster recovery and ancillary messaging components;
Understanding of DNS, WINS, DHCP and LDAP compliant directories;
Outlook web APP and Microsoft outlook; Windows mobile/active sync, exchange /2010; knowledge in SMTP and email archive solution, SAN, VM, power shell scripting;
Solid technical knowledge of advanced Microsoft exchange /2010/2013/2016, windows 2008/2012, blackberry 5.xx enterprise vault 9.xxx, 10.xxx, 11.xxx,12.xxx.;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills;
Excellent problem solving skills; and
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.



Qualification Requirements:

BA/BS in Information Technology or related field and 6 years experience related to the areas described above for this position;

BA/BS in all other areas and 10 years experience related to the areas described above for this position;
-OR-
Education and Experience equivalent.
